Shabbat Morning Service this weekend

  • Shabbat Morning Service: Saturday 18th May from 11am

Shabbat Morning Service takes place on Saturday 18th May from 11am. Children’s Hebrew is at 10am and Cheder is at 11am. Please bring something vegetarian to share for Kiddush.

Children’s Hebrew and Cheder breaks for the summer half term holidays after this, returning on 15th June.

  • Shavuot celebration at Ribbons & Taylor Cafe: Sunday 9th June 7-10pm

Join us on Shavuot for an evening of community learning, conversation, and of course — cheesecake! We will learn from members young and old and explore ancient and modern interpretations of our texts and traditions.

This even takes place at Ribbons & Taylor Cafe, 155 Stoke Newington Church Street, N16 0UH (Next to Spence).

Meanwhile, our Shabbat morning services continue on 1st and 15th June as usual. Children’s Hebrew and Cheder will not be running on 1st June but will return on the 15th June. Our Creche for younger children will go ahead on 1st June from 11am.

  • Liberal Judaism’s Day of Music & Day of Celebration – Saturday 22nd at NPLS, HA6 & Sunday 23rd June at The Liberal Jewish Synagogue, NW8.

Liberal Judaism’s Day of Music takes place on 22nd June at NLPS and will include workshops, talks and discussions from music leaders within LJ including our Kehillah’s own Cantor Tamara Wolfson. Full details and tickets for the Day of Music are available on Liberal Judaism’s website here.

The following day is LJ’s Day of Celebration at The Libreal Jewish Synagogue. This year it focuses on the role of communities to support their members, as well as the surrounding community. Full details and tickets for the Day of Celebration on Liberal Judaism’s website here.
