Tzedakah appeal & information is below. If you wish to make a donation to either/both of our charities see further ways to pay here. Please make sure to email Ashleigh with the donation split so that we can make sure the right amount goes to the right charity.

Additional Information

This year we will “email invoice” members & guests for the amount they have booked for within about a week of filling in the booking form. The email will have multiple options & information on how to pay. As ever, we never want money to get in the way of anyone being part of our Kehillah so if you cannot pay costs as listed please complete the form & then email Ashleigh our Administrator immediately afterwards so we can discuss what contribution might be manageable.

Thanks to all that attended. High Holidays 2023/5784 will be Rosh Hashanah: 15th - 16th September & Yom Kippur 24th-25th September.

Yom Kippur Tsedakah Appeal 2022 / 5783

This year we’re raising money for Maytree. In addition we of course ask you to make a donation to our Kehillah to help sustain and grow our community throughout the year.

MAYTREE

Maytree is a respite centre in north London that offers help and support for those in suicidal crisis. They provide a unique residential service: a free 4 night, 5 day one-off stay in a safe, confidential, non-medical environment, where adults over 18 from across the uk who are experiencing suicidal thoughts can talk about their thoughts and behavior. Maytree strive to help guests feel heard and listen with compassion, and without judgement. Maytree hope to open a second house this year. maytree.org.uk

KEHILLAH NORTH LONDON

We pride ourselves in being a home for many Jewish people and families who have sometimes found it difficult to find a home elsewhere. But we also seek to make Kehillah a warm, welcoming, creative and good place. Every year we struggle to raise the money we need to do this particularly in this year, when we as a community have experienced such change, well as in a year of wider financial difficulties in our communities. We ask you to consider us on Yom Kippur because you value what we do and want us to continue to grow, to pray, to think, to learn, to challenge and to offer friendship and comfort.
