A reminder that on Monday 1st October from 6pm, we depart from Liberal tradition and celebrate Simchat Torah on the same night as our orthodox neighbours. Children, friends and neighbours are all welcome to hear the conclusion of our annual reading of the Torah, and to immediately begin reading again. Please bring food, customary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will also be music and dancing to celebrate the end of the season of festivals and start of a new cycle of life. Please note this event takes place at the Old Church across the road from our usual venue.
If anyone is available to help to take down the Sukkah on Tuesday or Wednesday please get in touch with Ashleigh the administrator. We are looking for a couple of extra pairs of hands to assist with this.
The first in our usual cycle of Shabbat Morning Services is on Saturday 6th October at 11am . Children’s Hebrew at 10am and cheder at 11am also begin again for the new year.
