  • Help teach Hebrew at our online Saturday Cheder

Do you have time to help teach Kehillah young people Hebrew? We are looking for volunteers (either beginners or advanced) for our cheder via Zoom. Our Hebrew sessions are on alternate weeks (i.e. on non-service shabbatot) from 1pm – 1 45pm. If you are interested please email Omar – we would very much apprecate any help that can be offered.

If you are interested in signing up your 10-13-year-olds, our cheder runs every Saturday from 1pm-2pm. Please email Omar with any enquiries.

  • Commemorating Yom haShoah on Zoom together – NEXT MONDAY 20th April 7:30pm

Please join us for an evening service in our Zoom room here which will be followed by time for discussion and reflection on Yom haShoah. We are then going to contribute to the Foundation Stones project, by painting stones that will be placed in the foundation of the new UK Holocaust Memorial.

In order to do this, see if you can find a palm-sized stone, and some paint or felt tips with which to decorate the stone, and we will then decorate these together (on Zoom), after which we suggest that you keep the stones safely at home until we can transport them to the project.

Please do not make a special trip to obtain these supplies as we discourage non-essential travel in line with public health guidance. There will be other ways to participate on the night. Details about the ‘Foundation Stones’ project here.
