Shabbat Morning Service this Saturday, 7th October, with the Bat Mitzvah of Rosa. Earlier time of 10:30am!
Our first Shabbat morning service of 5784 will start at the earlier time of 10:30am, where we will also be celebrating the Bat Mitzvah of our young member Rosa. After the service, we will have Kiddush outside in our Sukkah. Cheder will be starting up again for the new year and creche will also be running alongside the service. It will be a shorter cheder session (11 – 12) focusing on Jewish studies. Our next Shabbat Morning Service on 21st October will also start at the earlier time of 10:45am as well as being at a different venue of The Redmond Centre.

Simchat Torah this Sunday 8th October, 11am – 12.30
Join us to celebrate the birthday of the Torah! There will be learning, reading Torah, dancing and music, with our very own Kehillah band. Vegetarian snacks to share for a kiddush are welcome

Walthamstow members invite Kehillah-nicks to visit their Sukkah this evening – Thursday 5th October from 6pm
Our members Madeleine & Emily would like to invite Kehillah members to visit their Sukkah at Madeleine & her partner Ed’s house in Walthamstow, tonight from 6pm. Bring nibbles and drinks. Be aware that there are (lovely) cats resident in Madeline & Ed’s home but they will not be in the garden & there is access to the garden from the street for those with allergies.

The Rabbi Lionel Blue Memorial Lecture – 8th November, 7:30pm at Finchley Reform Synagogue.

Beit Din Weekend Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th November 2023, Easingwold at The Hawkhills
Are you considering conversion through either Reform or Liberal Judaism? Are you in the process of converting? Enjoy a Shabbat experience with those following a similar path and facing similar issues in a warm, open environment for questions and discussions. The weekend is being offered through the Reform Movement for Judaism but Liberal candidates and Liberal Rabbis are warmly invited to join us. The weekend is open to anyone considering conversion or is currently in the process of converting. Partners, Jewish or non-Jewish are more than welcome.
