Lockdown Launch: Tefillah, Kavannah and Ruach (Prayer) Group
As we go into a second lockdown, all of us at Kehillah are thinking of each other. During this time of isolation and hardship for all of us, we hope there are two areas of Kehillah life which can especially nurture us: our shared spiritual life and our caring for one another. With that in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of two new groups at Kehillah: a Tefillah, Kavannah and Ruach group (a meaningful Rites & Practices group by another name!) and a Chesed Care (Pastoral) Team. The Tefillah (prayer) group will be practical, as well as personal, and open to everyone. We will learn together about different ways of creating prayer space, develop Kehillah's ways of praying together, and explore our spiritual beliefs. Please email Claire if you are interested in being involved or have any questions! Our first meeting will be Tuesday evening, 17 Nov, 7.30-9pm

Chesed Care Team
The Chesed Care Team is open to anyone interested in supporting our care and compassion for one another at Kehillah. Building on the community work of the first lockdown (and aiming for beyond that), we will meet and learn best practices from others, like Northwood and Pinner Liberal's Care Team, as well as put into action ways we can better support each other, to address isolation, mental health, and life's other challenges. We will be in touch with a first meeting date soon.

This Year's Tzedakah Appeal - Sistah Space & Kehillah
Thank you to all who have already generously donated. We would love to grow our Tzedakah Appeal this year to have more individual donations than previously - and have set ourselves a target of receiving 50 donations. Please do, if you haven't already, help us reach our target and make a donation! Our Tzedakah Appeal is raising money for Sistah Space, as well as for our own Kehillah. Donations to Kehillah allow us to offer more, as well as being able to subsidise membership and events for those members and friends who may have financial difficulties.
