Chanukkah Party Weds 13th December Bring your chanukkiah, and let’s light up the night. Let’s party! Childrens’ party at 5:30, adults’ learning supper at 7pm For younger children, we will be making maccabee masks and shields and acting out the story of Chanukkah; of course we will also have an exciting dreidl game on the go. Teenagers: Join us for Maccabee Mania, a game of laugher, daring, music and doughnuts! Please bring Vegetarian food to share and your own chanukkiah and candles. There is a £5 suggested donation for non-member families.
Also on the 13th Chanukkah Learning Supper for Adults at 7pm Come and learn with us and with Rabbi Shulamit, a special chance to engage with Jewish stories of light and darkness, identity and the complexities of peoplehood. Please join us for this special Chanukkah evening, the last of Rabbi Shulamit’s teaching sessions. Bring vegetarian food to share.
Please join us for her special last Shabbat morning service at the earlier time of 10.30am on the 16th December. Hebrew starts at 10.00am sharp and Cheder at 10.30am. Please bring something vegetarian for Kiddush.

We are looking forward to programme of fun creative c reche events on Shabbat, starting with Parsley seed planting for Pesach, on the 20th January at 11am, and next on the 17th February, making challah covers and challah. Creche is for children and babies aged from birth to six; a lovely way to spend a shabbat morning with a child you love, and runs during the shabbat morning service
