Shabbat Morning service Saturday 1st December and looking ahead to Hanukkah

  • Shabbat Morning Service: Saturday 1st December from 11am

Our next Shabbat Morning Service is on Saturday 1st December. The service starts at 11am. Children’s Hebrew starts at 10am and Cheder starts at 11am.

  • Hanukkah candle lighting Sunday 9th December from 3pm at Hawksley Court Community Hall

Hanukkah starts on Sunday 2nd December. We will be lighting seven Hanukkah candles together on Sunday 9th December and running children’s activities from 3pm. Further details to follow shortly – all welcome.

  • Final Shabbat Morning Service of the year: Saturday 15th December

We have our final Shabbat Morning service of the calendar year on Saturday 15th December from 11am. Children’s Hebrew starts at 10am and Cheder starts at 11am.

  • Final Shabbat Evening Service of the year: Friday 21st December at Hawksley Court Community Hall

We then have a short Shabbat evening service on Friday 21st December at Hawksley Court Community Hall. Please arrive from 6pm for a 6:30pm start.

  • Hackney CCJ – Interfaith Chanukah and Advent event on Sunday 2nd December

A few of our members are taking part in this event on Sunday 2nd December at St. John’s Church, Lower Clapton Rd, E5 0PD. Please come from 4:30pm for a 5pm start, and there will then be refreshments available at 6pm. Our member Rebekka Wedell will be rehearsing some songs for this event at the Community Rooms after Kiddush on Saturday 1st December. She will be at our Shabbat Morning Service for anyone who would like to speak to her about joining.
