Lag b’Omer on Wednesday!

On Wednesday 2nd May we celebrate Lag b’Omer! We will be celebrating with a barbecue and games at a member’s home. Families and children welcome, from 5pm to 8pm. If you want to come, please email Ashleigh at as soon as possible to find out the details. As this event takes place in a member’s home, it is restricted to Kehillah members. Please bring vegetarian barbecue food to share.

Come Learn With Rabbi Mark Solomon continues on Tuesday 1st May. Beginner/near beginner Hebrew is at 7pm. At  8pm, we will be continuing our series on Stories from the Talmud. See here for an enticing article about the first session! At the second session, we completed looking at a story about Rabban Gamliel and Rabbi Yehoshuah. Which early rabbi is next? Find out on Tuesday! Rabbi Mark Solomon is Senior Lecturer in Rabbinic Literature at Leo Baeck College.

If any members are interested in a Synagogue tour or Torah study with Lev Taylor, student rabbi and Kehillah member, then take a look at the fundraising page for Babel’s Blessings. They are raising money for their English language classes, which they offer free of charge to migrants to the UK, regardless of their immigration status: Donate to Babel’s Blessings here.
