Cantor Tamara Wolfson has arrived in London to begin working with us on 1st July

We are phenomenally excited (and somewhat relieved!) to inform you that Cantor Tamara Wolfson has arrived safely in London and we can confirm that she will be starting work as Spiritual Leader of Kehillah North London in the week beginning 1st July. Her first event with the community will be our regular Shabbat morning service on Saturday 7th July at our usual venue, the New Community Rooms. We hope to see you there to help begin to welcome Cantor Tamara into our community.
And do come along to our short Friday evening service Tomorrow, 22nd June, 6pm for a 6.30 start, to say farewell and l’hitraot (see you soon) to Rabbi Danny Rich, whose last service this will be as our interim Rabbi.
Next Friday, St Mary’s Church are having a sponsored sleep out under their billboards to raise awareness of homelessness in Hackney. Money raised from the sleep out will go towards renovating the New Community Rooms which are also used as a night shelter, migrant centre and food bank. Our member Stephen is participating in the sponsored sleep out and you can sponsor him and others here. if you are interested in joining Stephen on his sleep out, please contact Ashleigh who can put you in touch with him.
