10:30am Shabbat Morning Service with Esther’s Bat Mitzvah

  • PLEASE NOTE: EARLIER TIME OF 10:30AM for Shabbat morning service with Esther’s Bat Mitzvah this Saturday 17th November

Please note that our Shabbat morning service, with Esther’s Bat Mitzvah, will be starting at the earlier time of 10:30am. There will be a short cheder activity at 10.30, and then cheder aged children will join the service to support Esther and her family. Children’s Hebrew is at 10:00am. Esther and her family invite the community to join them in a short kiddush after the service.

  • Come Learn With Me continues Tomorrow: 13th November 7:30-9pm

Come Learn with Cantor Tamara this Tuesday 13th November 7.30. This is the second in our series on liturgy and music. We are exploring our Shabbat liturgy in depth covering history, theology and music, as well as different versions of the same prayers as encountered in other prayer books. This liturgy exploration includes discussions of our new LJ draft liturgy.

  • Inter Faith Week celebration and Lunch at Walthamstow Wetlands Nature Reserve on Thursday 15th November 10am-2pm

Walthamstow Wetlands Nature Reserve is hosting a free of charge celebration and lunch for Inter Faith Week on Thursday 15th November 10am-2pm. They will be running guided walks and talks around the reserve, mindfulness workshops to connect you to nature, practical conservation tasks and activities for preschoolers. Open to all and a free lunch will be provided, but places are limited. Further details can be found here
